COME ONE, COME ALL! It's the Third Annual Fun-Size Collectable Fighting Monsters Ultra Mega Super Keen Championship Tournament! Trainers from all over the world will be gathering to prove that they've got the most powerful monster in the entire universe! Not to be deprived of your share of potential glory, you and your faithful (or barely tolerant) monster have signed up to compete. Except that once you reach the tournament, you begin to hear disturbing rumors. All is not right in the world of monster fighting, and there are even whispers that the tournament itself might be canceled. What's really going on? You'll find out soon enough... ***** The world of Fun-Size Collectable Fighting Monsters draws heavily from others of the genre. So if you've seen Pokemon/Digimon/etc., you've probably got a good idea of how things are going to work. Trainers tend to be between the ages of 10 and 25; most are between 13 and 17, but there are quite a few prodigies and veterans out there. The bond between a trainer and his or her monster takes time and effort to develop, thus a trainer is limited to only having one monster at a time. It is entirely possible that a trainer may have had multiple monsters over his or her career, or a monster multiple trainers, but all trainers should currently only have one monster. Monsters can be kept in capture balls, but most trainers prefer to keep their monster out for easier communication and use the threat of returning the monster to its ball as a last resort. Of course, there are always exceptions... Some monsters are gifted with the ability to speak English (or whatever the trainer's native language is) while others speak only their own language, which usually consists of the monster's name and nothing else. A few cannot speak at all and are limited to gestures and noises. If you have any questions or comments, please let us know! ~ Ciara and Zegon
