[ We Find Our Heros trekking along with the semi-captured Orogs in front. It's a pretty quiet trek through the underworld; you haven't been attacked by hideous monsters yet. ] [ The passage here is fairly wide; people could go along side-by-side if they wanted to. And talk. And stuff. ] [ Which just might happen. Minisession start! ] * Alcinoe clanks along, trailing behind the rest of the group. Clanks because, you know, plate. She's been annoyingly quiet throughout most of the trip. * Will was walking somewhere in the middle of the group when he noticed that Alci was missing. Noticing that she is falling behind, he stops walking to wait for her to catch up. * Alcinoe doesn't even seem to notice Will. She just clanks along. * Will pauses for a sec in confusion before running up next to Alci. "Anything wrong, Alci?" [ The stone floor of the passage does little to mute Alcinoe's footfalls. ] * Will waves a hand in front of Alci's face to see if she notices. * Alcinoe blinks at that, then looks to the other clanking cleric. Two clanking clerics! Ah ah ah ah- erm, anyway. "Uh?" [ Somewhere, the Count is very happy. ] * Will lets out a sigh of relief. "Whew. Thought there was something wrong. You were so self-absorbed." (See, I knew Yu wouldn't want to miss this. ;P) * Alcinoe smiles sheepishly. "Uh, yeah. Ah guess Ah was. How're ya doin'?" Getting more and more used to this suit of clanking armor everyday!" * Alcinoe snickers. "Yeah, it is kinda loud." (Whoa. That's an extensive collection you got there.) (I also have many episodes of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood! And a number of Dr. Seuss cartoons... oh! And all three Care Bear movies.) I have EVERY School House Rock cartoon on DVD. XD) ( XD ) * Alcinoe sticks her tongue out at Will. "Is so. Ya said it's two inches thick. That kinda thing ain't gonna be muffled." * Will opens his mouth for a comeback but nothing comes out. "Er...umm...same then." * Alcinoe laughs. * Will grins sheepishly. "Yeah...Stupid two-inch armor...." Have you thought about getting a new suit of armor, Alci? Yeah. Or enchantin' this one a little more, maybe. Gettin' a new suit a' armor takes a bit. I think you should go Mithril. Like mine! *taps on his breastplate* * Alcinoe smirks. "Ah dunno if Ah want it that thick. Past a point, mah skin fergets how ta breathe." * Will nods seriously. "You got a point there. It was really hard to breathe when I first adventured out wearing this armor." Yeah. But yer used ta it now, right? * Will nods happily. "Yup. Except for the actual wearing part. But that's something else." * Alcinoe raises an eyebrow. "You mean puttin' it on?" Yeah. That's the hard part. * Alcinoe chuckles. "Ah'm sure ya'll get used ta it eventually. Ah mean, Ah did." Maybe. At least I can always ask somebody to help me with it. Makes it so much easier. * Alcinoe laughs. "What if yer by yerself?" * Will sighs deeply, "Then it's gonna take me a _very_ long time to put it on." Which is why ya should learn how ta do it by yerself when there's no rush. I tried!! But trying to put on armor and reading the textbook didn't work. Plus the pictures in the book are useless! ( *Snerks* ) (Hehe!) * Alcinoe shakes her head in amusement. "Fine, fine. Ah can help teach ya, okay?" * Will hugs Alci in delight, "Ya will! Great!" * Alcinoe laughs as Will's armor clangs into hers. "Okay, okay! Yer welcome!" [ Meanwhile, Patrick and Seylin whisper to each other. Well, probably. ] * Will lets Alci go and grins. "Yeah, Isty seems to be a bit tired of helping me putting on my armor. He'll be glad I won't need to bother him now." (They are so cute.) * Alcinoe nods in amusement. "Yeah." ( Wasn't there supposed to be a log of their whisperings? ) (No idea. I should ask Kate sometime.) * Will calms down a bit. "Yeah. Anyways, regarding your armor, I'll be glad to help out if you need anything." All right.
