[ We find Our Heroes figuring out the obvious solution to their problems! Oops. ] [ Now what'll they do? Session Start! ] * Kenji walks straight in the entrance, in the lead with Tia. Will, direct us straight to the portal. I want this over and done with, and those demons can rot on this miserable plane. Yeah! * WillS nods and raises his symbol of Bahamut in front of him as he prays for guidance. * Tia pumps her fist in the air for emphasis. It's not like we could stop them anyways. These guys are rotting even if we're not killing them. I'm sensing massive magical energy up a bit and to our right. It's probably where the portal is. Very well. To the right. I'll scout. Very well. Be careful. * Seylin nods. * Kenji reaches out and slows Tia, letting Seylin pull ahead by a good forty feet. * Tia grins at Kenji and falls back as asked. * Patrick takes flight a couple feet or so up, so he can see past the wall that is Tia. [ As Seylin flies over the pit of acid, she notices something and starts banking, but not in time; an enormous winged creature leaps out of the mire and snaps at her, catching her leg but not bringing her down! ] Ow! As that happens, two creatures teleport to either side of the pit; an enormous six-armed snake woman and a huge, burning man with horns and wings! ] If I'm not mistaken, that's a big nasty bad guy. Yes, I noticed now. [ The large black thing is obviously a black dragon. It roars at you in a way that sounds oddly like laughter. ] Oh good. Another dragon head for my collection. This'd be what, number four? Second. I'm not counting the Linnorm. Hmm, there was the red dragon and the black one we took out earlier though. Yes. Third. That's what I said. * Patrick chuckles and grins. "Of course." [ The balor gestures, and the marilith draws three daisho; two bearing lion mon, one bearing scorpion. ] That can't be a good prize. [ The area near the entrance of the room bursts into a cloud of riotous flame. ] * Tia blinks and gapes. Tia, let's go! * Kenji charges forward, Tia at his side. He doesn't slow at all when he comes to the pit of acid, he just charges straight out onto its surface to slam Soramaro into the dragon's breast with a resounding crack. * Tia speeds alongside Kenji. The grin is still on her face as she swings Mr. Axe's heavy blade directly into the dragon's black mass. [ The dragon reels as it takes two hits! ] * WillS grins as the roaring torrent of flame from the enemy only manages to singe a bit of his hair. Running a bit closer, he returns the favor by cooking the demons and dragons in a double dose of burning goodness. "This is how it's done." [ The various enemies wince at the flames Will unleashes upon them, although the balor doesn't seem particularly bothered. ] * Seylin swoops through the air, swings her halberd back like a golf club, and swings vigorously, sending the marilith on a one way trip right into the gigantic pit of acid. [ The Marilith goes splut into the acid! Must be deep. ] * Patrick runs forward and readies his bow. As he gets ready to fire at the neck of the dragon, he slips momentarily and instead mearly hits it in the side. Curses in Undercommon, Elven, and Common follow. * Tia 's wings beat furiously as she hovers before the dragon, continuing her frenzied barrage of axe and claw blows. Several of the swings miss their mark, but she still manages to open a trio of new wounds on the beast. [ Tia cut dwagun! Yay! :D ] * Kenji rears back, takes Soramaro in a two handed grip, and plunges it straight to the hilt in the dragon's chest, then rips it free, letting forth a gout of dragon blood. He skips nimbly back over the acid, landing on the shore near the wall of crackling electricity. [ Demon attacks Seylin, misses, and shoops Kenji's woop with another round of Implosion. ] [ Session... pause! ]
