In it, you found walking the dim halls, one white-haired man with a lab coat. But sadly, this fellow bears a striking resemblence to the man who corrupted Makoto (though Xiang-Fei's still up on that) and kidnapped Aaron's girlfriend. Not exactly the same, but the similarity is uncanny.] [Also there is one Keyoumi Senada, or Keyoumi Senada look- alike, who has been shot. For right now, she's stable but she looks in pretty critical condition. The gun who shot her is now pointing at you, but the actual pointer of the gun is still obscured by darkness and standing a ways behind Mister Scientist.] [He seems rather bothered at your arrival.] [Start of File.] * Xiang-Fei stands between him and the others. She draws her swords. "Who you is?!" * Olivia is still hiding behind the people paid to take bullets. [The man sighs. "Ah. Xiang-Fei, is it? I see this one has aggression problems as well."] What you talking about? First, I must ask you what you are doing on this compound. Before I am forced to call security. ( Like any of us remember >.> ) * Xiang-Fei waves her arms. "You is one shooting people!" (...I just reminded you. -_-) (Not that Xiang-Fei paid attention.) What I'm doing is trying to save this woman's life. [The man shrugs. "She is useless. A defect. We got some use out of her for a time, but she has outlived her purpose."] What? I don't know what that means, but I ain't lettin' her die. That's still no way to treat a lady, you know. ^_^ [The man turns his gaze over to Aaron. "Ah, Aaron. How nice to see you again. I see you have decided to join a different group this time."] I'm sorry. Have we met? [The man sighs slightly. "You really do not recall. Maybe it would be better just to shoot you." At that, he draws a derringer out of his lab coat and points it at Aaron. The gun toter behind him levels his own gun on the remaining people, threatening them to make a move. * Olivia eeps and stays behind people. * Xiang-Fei narrows her eyes. "I no like you." * TJ looks up at the drawn guns, then looks back down at the woman. He doesn't move. But we haven't even been introduced yet. Obviously, I made some sort of impression on you at some point. ( They liked your resume ) (Yeah, it was between them and KS, really, but KS offered the better 401k plan.) [The man grits his teeth. "The first set was a failure because you set us back. Even the second set, we could not fully recover the data after you destroyed it. You didn't care about the people working for the center you destroy. Your kind never does."] * Xiang-Fei waves her arms. "That not funny!" [The man grins wildly as he looks up at Aaron. And with that expression, he definitely looks like the madman who slashed at you back in the factory. "The name's Nicolas Prower! And you WILL remember it!" And he pulls the trigger.] * TJ starts at the gunfire. His hand leaves Keyoumi's wound for a few seconds; as blood starts to flow out again, he quickly clamps his hand back down. (Defense roll, Aaron, then init!) 2d6-3 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Aaron (2d6-3) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 3. (I dodge!) [Aaron dodges like monkey!] [Also keep in mind, you're in a fairly tight corridor. (Called shot leg?) ( Nah, just a normal attack ) [Nicolas hisses as he takes a gash across the leg. He tries to stagger back away from the madwoman.] [He yells. "Reinforcements! Reinforcements! And tries to limp down the hall. On his way back, he fires wildly at Xiang-Fei, bullet whizzing past and lodging itself in the wall behind her.] [Aaron's turn.] ( Unfortunately, Reinforcements was on vacation. ) (Reinforcements jet rocket backpack rocket pack) (Oh, Xiang-Fei. ( Made :o ) Really, I think we should talk more before you head off. [Xiang-Fei, as she gets closer to Nicolas, smells the distinct smell of the harbor coming off of the gunner. He might have been there earlier.] ( Can I actually see the gunner yet? :P ) (Probably! [Nicolas stumbles and falls. He laughs. "You think this will keep me?" There's running coming from down the halls. "Ah. They're coming." He grins. "You don't know what you're getting into."] Never do, but it doesn't stop me. ^_^ [Meanwhile the gunner turns to look at Xiang-Fei. Anyone close enough to look at him can see that his face is the spitting image of Akira Musei. Except he doesn't seem nearly as happy. Or paranoid as he fires at Xiang-Fei's wrist.] [Right down to the scar across the face, by the way. But the droids are very good at collecting samples. Of course, again there was another failure..."] [And Xiang manages to dodge that shot. Olivia's turn.] My fault again? (Rowyn, is it safe to move Keyoumi, assuming pressure is kept on the wound?) (Slowly. But yes.) (Also, I'm bad about forgetting my NPCs. Sean'll act next round. ^_^;) ( Isn't Hans there, too? ) * Olivia gulps and runs over to TJ to help stop the bleeding/move Keyoumi, barely keeping a scream dowm down as she does so. (Yeah, I forgot Sean was even there. ^^;) (Hans is helping stop the bleeding.) (So he's not so important in the combat. He's a doctor, not a soldier.) ( 'Nother called ) ( I kicked him so hard, he went through the floor and off the map! ) [Nicolas does seem in extreme pain. So extreme he passes out from it. There's a sigh from down the corridor. "He never said you were this extreme." Down the corridor is someone who seems to be mostly of chinese descent in his early 20s. He's wearing his hair in a black ponytail and is wearing a thin pair of glasses, though his dress is somewhat casual. (con).] [Along side of him, Xiang-Fei sees...Xiang-Fei! Well, except without a headband. And there's no weird tattoo on her forehead either. But she looks ready to fight.] * Xiang-Fei doesn't wear glasses! (Xiang-Fei also isn't male. ;p) (The guy has glasses.) * Olivia doesn't look anything like either of them! ( He's Mr. Lau ._. ) ( Kill him!) (I think Mr. Lau is older, though.) ( This is all leading to hot Xiang-Fei twincest action!) (...kill *him.*) (Haw!) (My brain did not need to go there.) (Darn. My cunning plan is ruined!) [Oh. (And misses, sadly.) [Aaron misses. Actually, so does Sean. But not-quite-Akira is not quite so unlucky. He draws his hands back, looking at Xiang-Fei. "So you're the one I have to take in alive I guess, hmm?"] * Xiang-Fei settles into a stance, swords pointed at the guy. She switches to Chinese "" [The guy smiles. <"I can manage dead well enough."> He turns to the other Xiang-Fei. "I'm going to tell the others to get the girl out of here. Be back real quick." He goes and runs off, leaving Xiang-Fei to face herself. Who swings her forearm at Xiang-Fei's head, following up with a sweep.] 2 2d6-5 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Xiang-Fei (2 2d6-5) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 5 4. ( Got 'em both ) [Xiang-Fei manages to avoid both attacks. Olivia's turn.] * Olivia is moving people and helping stop bleeding. Eewwww bleeding! [Hans also helps moving people. Olivia actually should get a body roll.] (You won't drop her, but it's to see how fast you're carrying.) 2d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Olivia (2d6) and gets 12, a CRITICAL FAILURE!!! "Looks like your thread just got cut. Sorry." (WHOHO!) ( Nooooooooooot very fast. ) ( Olivia accidently carries her in the wrong direction! ) [Keyoumi is too heavy to budge! Olivia's leaving Hans to do all the work. As a result, she's not going very fast. But probably for the better.] * TJ follows along, keeping his grip in place. If I thought it a good idea to move the cloth, I'd tell TJ here to carry instead.] * Xiang-Fei is a little unnerved at fighting herself. She throws a front-snap kick, followed by a wheel kick. Doesn't look like she's eager to use her swords on this one. 2 2d6-4 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Xiang-Fei (2 2d6-4) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 6 4. (I can't cut up my pretty face!) ( Thems both hits. ) [!Xiang's head flies back with the snap kick, but she does manage to use the momentum to lower herself below the wheel kick and snap back upright.] [Aaron.] (himself?) (The world could not withstand the ^_^2.) * Aaron fires again at Anti-Akira, trying to get him to drop his gun. 2d6-3 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Aaron (2d6-3) and gets a natural 4 for a result of 1. Sean tries to follow that up with his own shot, but !Akira ducks out of the way and pulls out a shotgun, firing. ...ah, yes. Portable arsenal. [Aaron needs to defend against spreading. And since Olivia's being so slow, she'll need to either take it, or take a dodge and a body roll. (What's the penalty for defending against spreading?)
